Training (10a)

I can't believe how my body has felt for the past 2-3 weeks. We have picked up our training volume and I have never felt better. Regionals, in my mind, is more about how your body holds up than anything else and I am gaining more confidence by the day as to how my body will hold up. The majority of people will come out and crush day 1 but by day 3, it is a different ballgame. What we are doing is working and I have never felt more confident about my training and it is showing in my recovery.

800m Run
30 GHD's (U/B)
400m Run
30 Power Clean and Jerks (135)    (5-5-5-4-fast singles) (3:13)
200m Run
30 KB Snatches (15L/15R)  (unbroken on both arms)
100m Run

*Felt alright here, wasn't sure how hard to push the 800 and went slower but didn't break up GHD's or Snatches and had very little rest b/w runs and the next movement. I would rather pace a little slower and not take any rest b/w movements than try and crush a run and then get my HR back down before picking up a kb or bb. 

*Usually by Sunday afternoon I am dying for a day off but I feel great. Will do some mobility tomorrow and maybe a Z1 run or something.
